How the Order Process Works
Step One: Place Your Order
- Each of our services has an online order form to help walk you through your project and determine a basic estimate
- As you are estimating your total, please keep in mind that it is just a rough guess - your actual total will be determined after we have received and completed your project
- As you complete your project estimate, you will be directed to the checkout page where you will make a down payment roughly equal to half of your order - the actual total will be determined as your project is complete and the remaining balance will be paid at that time
Step Two: Prepare Your Order
- When you complete the checkout process, you will find a list of links to project worksheets on your final receipt page - these worksheets will also be included in an email sent to you
- Your project worksheet will walk you through any additional information for your project such as titling and chapter buttons
- Make sure that your items will not be bent or damaged during shipment - We recommend using stiff mailing envelopes for your photos and wrapping your items in plastic bags to protect them from humidity and moisture prior to placing them in a shipping box full of bubble wrap and/or packing peanuts
Step Three: Ship Your Order
- After you have placed an order with us, check your email for a pre-paid UPS shipping label to print and attach to your box
- Drop off your package at any UPS shipping location - your package may be tracked using your label number
- When we receive your package, we will send you a confirmation email
Step Four: The Preservation Process
- Once your originals have arrived at our facility, they will not leave until your project has been completed and is ready to be shipped back to you
- All work is completed in-house by our trained professionals
- Each individual item of your project is cleaned, scanned, optimize,d and saved onto our servers
Step Five: Your Preview Page
- Once we have your project digitized you will be contacted by the person who digitized your order. They will give you a summary of your order, such as the length of video or audio tapes, how many CDs or DVDs are required and the total price for your order
- You will also be asked at this time if you require any additional copies of your project
- If your order includes scanning of slides, film or photographs, a custom and secure preview page will be created for you. This page will allow you to eliminate up to 50% of your scanned images
Step Six: The Finishing Touches
- Once you have been consulted by one of our professionals your order will be completed as to your exact specifications
